Due to the fact that the TV series ends without a real conclusion, ''Requiem for Victims'' serves as the true ending and conclusion to the plot of the TV series.

==Story==
After receiving the upgraded flight pack on the Dancouga machine, the Gundor launches Dancouga into the deep space of Muge Zorbados territory to take the fight to the empire in a decisive showdown.

<spoiler text="This following contains extreme amounts of spoilers. Click to show/hide.">Dancouga arrives in Muge Zorbados's personal universe. After a long while of reminiscence (which took up around 70% of the OVA), they get into a rematch with Death Gaia in his new Zangaioh machine, on a battlefield known as the Red Space.  Dancouga attacks with the cannons on its flight pack and Ryo's martial arts, but Zangaioh is able to heal itself due to the red space and Dancouga is forced to destroy its flight pack to survive.  It finally unveils its true finisher, the Dankuuken, a sword with the power of the Gandor Cannon.  They manage to defeat Zangaioh by cutting it in half, standing in the space it would regenerate in, which consequently resulted in Zangaioh's destruction and Death Gaia's demise.

After a short fight where Muge Zorbados himself causes major damage to Dancouga, the team managed to fight back by borrowing power from both their living and fallen comrades, before putting all of their energy into the Dankuuken and throwing it towards Zorbados, obliterating the Emperor. After the battle, Dancouga is returned back to our universe as the upgraded Gundor arrives to bring them home.
