Mobile Suit Gundam F91 is a movie made to take place long after Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. The movie would introduce new enemies, new mobile suits, and overall a new era. However, many things production-side came up short, and what should have been a TV series became the movie and left many gaps in the Universal Century timeline that would have to be filled in by other works.
